1. The Nobel Prize in Economic for the year 2017 has been awarded to Dr Richard H Thaler for his contributions to behavioural economics.
डॉ. रिचर्ड एच. थैलर को व्यवहारिक अर्थशास्त्र में उनके योगदान के लिए वर्ष 2017 के अर्थशास्त्र के नोबेल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।
2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Rs 4,337-crore Bhadbhut Barrage project in Bharuch, Gujarat. It aims to stop the ingress of salinity along the Narmada River.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुजरात के भरूच में भादभूत बांध परियोजना का शिलान्यास किया। यह परियोजना 4,337 करोड़ रुपये में तैयार होगी और इसका लक्ष्य नर्मदा नदी में खारापन रोकना है।
3. Noted journalist Bismoy Kumar Mohanty died. He was 62.
जाने माने पत्रकार बिस्मय कुमार मोहंती का निधन हो गया। वह 62 वर्ष के थे।
4. Actor Mohan Joshi will be conferred with the coveted Vishnudas Bhave award on November 5.

वीडीएमए इंडिया के प्रबंध निदेशक राजेश नाथ को 'क्रॉस ऑफ दी ऑर्डर ऑफ मेरिट' से सम्मानित किया गया, जोकि जर्मनी में व्यक्तियों को उनकी सेवाओं के लिए दिया जाने वाला सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान है।
7. President Ram Nath Kovind launched a 100 crore rupees Mata Amritanandamayi Math Project "Jeevamritham "to provide filtration system for cleaning drinking water to 5000 villages across India, inkollam district in Kerala.
राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने भारत भर में 5000 गांवों को पीने के पानी की सफाई के लिए निस्पंदन प्रणाली प्रदान करने के लिए केरल के कोल्लम जिले में 100 करोड़ रुपये की राशि वाली माता अमृतानंदमयी मठ परियोजना "जीवअम्रिथम" का शुभारंभ किया।
